TNAI Membership

In TNAI, there are two kinds of memberships: One is for the qualified nurses and the other is for the nursing students. All the Trained Nurses can register themselves for the membership either for Annual Membership or Life Membership by applying in the prescribed application form and by paying the prescribed membership fee for each category.

The Students Nursing Association (SNA) is a nation - wide organization of the nursing students. The main purpose of forming the Association by TNAI was to provide vanities to the nursing students to facilitate their all-round development and accredit them to join TNAI as qualified nurses.

The following conditions should be fulfilled to become the member of TNAI

  • The application form will be accepted only when it is recommended by the Nursing Superintendent/Principal/ Director of Nursing/Principal Tutor or any senior member of TNAI.
  • In case the recommendation from anyone of the above mentioned persons is not possible, true attested copies of Registration Certificates must be sent along with the application form.
  • A current member desiring to become a Life Member need not send fresh application. The applicant should intimate his/her TNAI number and remit the life membership fee.
  • Application form completed in all respects should be sent to the Secretary, TNAI, L-17, Green Park, New Delhi-11 0016, along with the membership fee.
  • The Nursing Journal of India (official organ of TNAI) is issued to the members free of cost. Members migrating/residing in foreign countries shall bear the postal charges apart from membership fee.
  • Any change in Present/Mailing address, should be intimated immediately quoting TNAI number, and Pin Code to ensure regular supply of N.J.I.
